In the beginning

You've got to jump in somewhere and here seemed like a good place to do that. We are currently awaiting the sale of our house so that we may take the next step towards commissioning with the IMB. Until then we have moved in with my parents in Tyler, Texas. We have been here now 2 weeks and are finally getting settled in. We will spend the time from now until March getting rid of excess and preparing mentally and spiritually to move to Zambia. From now until we get to Zambia there will not be a whole lot to tell in the way of our ministry but it will be a great opportunity for us to get in the habit of keeping this blog up to date. That being said you will read a lot about our 3 month old son, Tyler. We will keep you up to date with pix and vids so you can follow along with us in our journey both as parents and missionaries. If you have questions or comments we would love to hear them so we may get in some good practice with the blog before we leave and life gets hectic. We look forward to a life spent in holy submission to God as we take the gospel message of His Son to the harvest fields of Zambia. Please keep us in your prayers. God bless.
